”Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
Believers are required to use every opportunity in winning souls, encouraging and teaching new believers to know, grow and faithfully follow Jesus.
Pat Robertson is a well-known American media mogul, televangelist, and former Southern Baptist minister. He is the founder and chairman of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). Through CBN’s television and media platforms, Robertson has sought to make disciples and spread the message of Christianity, often incorporating elements of evangelism, prayer, and teaching into the programming. His efforts can be viewed as a reflection of the Great Commission by utilizing media and technology to reach people with the gospel across the world.
Matthew 28:19-20 is the mission that Jesus intended for his followers to fulfill after his resurrection and before his ascension into heaven. It is
a call to action for all believers, urging them to spread the gospel, baptize new believers, and teach them to follow His ways and with the assurance of His ongoing presence and support.
